AUSSIE HUNK JOINS CAST OF LADIES DOWN UNDER!
Ladies Down Under Thursday 12th April – Saturday 5th May
Aussie actor Damien Warren-Smith makes his Hull Truck debut with Ladies Down Under, the sequel to Amanda Whittington’s sell-out success Ladies’ Day.
25 year–old Damien was born in Inverness, but grew up in the Oz capital of Canberra and studied at the Actors’ Centre in Sydney. He appears in the award-winning Australian soap Love My Way which is aired in the UK on the newly launched Five Life digital TV station.
He will be joined by the original cast Ladies’ Day cast, Annie Sawle, Sue McCormick, Jemma Walker, Martin Barrass and Hull’s very own Lucy Beaumont who have been reunited for the production. After winning the Ladies Day jackpot at Royal Ascot at York, the fish-filleting foursome ditch their hairnets and factory overalls and jet off on the trip of a lifetime. Join Pearl, Jan, Linda and Shelley as they don their flight socks, dose up on Kylie and prepare for an adventure under Australian skies!
Amanda Whittington’s sensational new comedy sees the gang camping out under the stars in the land of sun-kissed surfers and opportunity. As their secrets unfold, Shelley discovers there’s more on offer than luxury and glamour, while Pearl embarks on a personal journey of her own.
You don’t have to have seen Ladies’ Day to enjoy Ladies Down Under and tickets are selling fast for the production which follows hot on the heels of the Ladies’ Day phenomenal autumn 2006 tour. Patrons are advised to book early to ensure a seat.
