Book Online/More info
May is National Share a Story Month, and Hull Truck Theatre is going mad - mad for storytelling that is – with a ‘bonkers’ bumper edition of its smash-hit storytelling shows Truck Tales!
On Saturday 23rd May, star storyteller Debbie Guneratne – one of Britain’s best – will present a fun-filled collection of silly stories and nonsense tales, including ‘The Man Who Ate the Fly’. What’s more, after the show, Hull Truck will host a special ‘Mad Hat’s Tea Party’, where children are invited to enjoy tasty treats and nibbles, make new friends and have heaps more fun! Only a handful of tickets remain for this post-show party and the dress code is “Strictly Silly” – the madder the hat you can find to wear the better!
Over the past year, Truck Tales has enjoyed phenomenal success and sparked a storytelling craze among children and families across the region. Top British ‘tale-tellers’ and fun events consistently attract sell-out audiences to each exciting new edition of the show.
With families and children already going bonkers for this Summer season of Truck Tales, Hull Truck is expecting a full (mad)house at the super-silly show on May 23rd. Tickets are selling fast, so people are advised to book early, dig out their ‘maddest hats’ and head down to Hull Truck for an fun-filled afternoon of madness, mayhem and storytelling magic!
