About Us

Hull Truck Theatre is committed to the people of Hull. We endeavour to be as inclusive as possible taking drama to groups and individuals who may not normally have experience of it.

Hull Truck’s dedicated Education Department prides itself on playing an intimate role within the community; working with a broad range of regional groups and organisations, as well as schools, colleges and universities. Our projects are both long and short - we run the project according to a groups needs and wishes with a strong emphasis on fun. Characterisation, improvisation, games, and physicality work.

In 2007, the team completed several major projects in addition to the usual activities, including a three-month digital learning Theatre In Education project and performance workshops for adults with learning difficulties in collaboration with Artlink Exchange.
