Youth Theatre productions

We perform two professionally-supported productions at Hull Truck Theatre each year, with past shows including Fathers 2B and Gameboys and Console Cuties to name but a few!

These are professional shows performed to sellout audiences and are always a huge success! To be the star of one of these shows is by no means easy, but it is certainly rewarding, heaps of fun and a spectacular start to your stage career!

"Joining the Youth Theatre was a fantastic experience, that ultimately led to me landing my first professional role on the Hull Truck stage and securing an agent.

I made many friends over the years and had a great time. If you are interesting in pursuing an acting career, I would definitely recommend joining the group”

Rachel Helen, Actress

Former Youth Theatre member Rachel made her professional acting debut in Hull Truck’s 2006 world premiere production of UP ON ROOF, written by acclaimed playwright Richard Bean.
