Take a raw and riotous look at life
in a modern comprehensive, in this classic comedy from BAFTA winner John
Godber. Meet the staff; the trendy young drama teacher making his
shaky debut; the deputy head who rules the school with an iron rod; the gentle
humanities teacher
who is desperate for a quiet life; Doug, the grumpy old caretaker, and the

Join Dave as he spends a month working
alongside a nutcase called Melvin in the summer job from hell - and that’s
before you bring ‘Cyclops
Debs’ and ‘Mucky Angie’ into the equation! It’s
got to be done though. He desperately needs the cash so he can treat the
girl he loves to a romantic break before she leaves the country for good.
Will he do it? Will Melvin help? And will he get to show his ‘man-face’? Recommended

LADIES DOWN UNDER: Tues 18th
November
After hitting the jackpot at Ladies’ Day
at York back in 2005, our fish-filleting foursome; Pearl, Jan, Shelley and
Linda, are celebrating in style with the trip of a lifetime. They’ve
dosed up on Kylie, donned their flight socks, and now the ‘girls on tour’ are
ready to conquer Oz…just as soon as the Imodium kicks in that is!

A KICK IN THE BAUBLES:
Tues 9th December
t’s Christmas in the Bailey household,
but chestnuts aren’t ‘roasting on an open fire’. A Silent
Night would be welcome, but ‘all is not calm and all is not bright’.
And no; Frank does not ‘wish it could be Christmas every day’!
