From Spring Street to Ferensway, this theatre has touched people’s lives, becoming a treasured Hull landmark.
You can remember those special moments you’ve spent at Hull Truck Theatre and mark your connection by dedicating a seat. Of course, it’s not just a seat – it's treasuring those moments you’ve spent together with friends and family. It’s investing in the future of the theatre you love and making sure the next generation can enjoy the same experience. It’s also a great way to honour the memory of a loved one, commemorate a
special occasion, or give a thoughtful gift.
For £300 (Stage 1, 459 seats) or £150 (Godber Studio, 135 seats), your seat dedication can include names, dates, quotes or phrases on a personalised plaque attached to the seat of your
choice. This will be in position for 10 years, with an opportunity to extend.
To show our thanks for your genorosity, we will recognise you as a donor through:
- A personalised plaque on your seat.
- Having your message printed on the e-ticket each time your dedicated seat is booked by a customer.
- Sending you a personal certificate of dedication.
- Crediting you as a donor on our digital screens in the theatre.

- If you would like to buy multiple seat dedication plaques you will need to place one order/transaction per plaque.
- Click the button below for either Stage 1 (Main Theatre) or Stage 2 (Studio) seat dedications. Please disregard any date/time information you see during the checkout process. These dates/times have no relevance to the length your dedication will remain in place or when your dedication will be installed.
- After selecting your preferred seat and clicking continue you should tick the box marked 'Donation’ in order to make payment for your seat dedication.
- When prompted you should enter your seat dedication text over three lines. You can add a max of 26 characters (including spaces) per line. If you DO NOT need to use all three lines please put the letters 'NA' (which means Not Applicable) on any line/s you want to leave blank. We will not engrave 'NA' on the plaque.
- Following payment you will receive a confirmation email followed by an e-ticket. Your plaque text will be printed on your e-ticket so please check carefully for any errors. If you need to make any amends please contact the Box Office within 24hrs of your order.
- Seat dedication plaques can hold a maximum of 78 characters (including spaces), separated over three lines (26 characters per line).
- We cannot guarantee that your seat will be available for you to book and your seat will not be reserved for you, for any performance/event.
- Plaque orders will be processed within 72hrs of your order. We aim to have the plaque engraved and installed within 14 working days of initial order.
- Once we receive your plaque and it has been placed on the requested seat we will contact you to arrange a suitable time for you to view it.
- You will receive a personal certificate of dedication and be credited as a donor on our digital screens in the theatre.
- Your personalisation will be printed on the e-ticket each time your dedicated seat is booked.
- In some alternative seating configurations your seat may not be available for sale.
- Your seat dedication plaque will be in place for 10 years with an opportunity to extend thereafter.
- Hull Truck Theatre reserves the right not to print any content on a plaque that it deems inappropriate.
- If you would like to pay in 10 x monthly installments please contact the Box Office to purchase.
If you chose to pay in monthly installments Hull Truck Theatre will set up auto-renewal payments to be collected each month. You will receive a reminder email before the payment is due to leave your account.
