1. Drop Off Point

There is a drop off and collection point 20 meters from the main theatre entrance on Ferensway.

2. Parking

Parking is available next door at St Stephen's Shopping Centre multi-storey car park, accessible via Portland Place off Ferensway. Upon entering the car park the barrier will record your registration number and automatically open. Drive to the back of the car park towards the entrance to the Holiday Inn Express. You will see a sign for Hull Truck Theatre, by which there is direct lift access to the square approx. 50m from the entrance of the Theatre.

There are five disabled parking bays close to the lift, on Level 2 (two on Level 3), which are charged at the normal daily rate, or just £1 after 5.30pm – 11.59pm, Mon - Sat and £2 all day Sunday.

Click here to download a visual guide for getting from St Stephen's Car Park to Hull Truck Theatre (opens as PDF) and for more information about entering and exiting the car park.

Alternatively, there are five disabled parking bays on Portland Street, by the entrance to the multi-storey car park, which are free for blue badge holders. These spaces are to the rear of the theatre, approx. 150m from the main entrance and have no time limit.

4. Building & Lift Access

There is level access, through two sets of automatic sliding doors, from the street on to the Ground Floor.

On your right, once through the second set of automatic doors, there is a lift which takes you to the First Floor allowing you to access the rear rows of Stage 1 and Godber Studio. The lift is fitted with voice commentary.

From the Ground Floor you can directly access the box office, café bar, Stage 1 (including all four wheelchair spaces), Godber Studio (including both wheelchair spaces), male and female toilets and two accessible toilets.

The Box Office has a lowered counter, at one side, for wheelchair users. Unfortunately our bar does not have a lowered area however our staff are more than happy to bring drinks / food round to you or take them to your table, where possible.

If you would like to borrow a wheelchair to help you get around the theatre please let the Box Office know and we would be happy to reserve it for you.

5. Wheelchairs / Wheelchair Spaces

Stage 1 - There are four wheelchair spaces in Stage 1. One on each end of row A in the centre block and one on the end of row A on each side block. For customers who have been set up with the online access booking facility, wheelchair spaces are identified with the universal wheelchair symbol and essential companion seats are identified with the letter C.

Godber Studio - There are two wheelchair spaces in Godber Studio. One on each end of row A.
Depending on the show, an additional wheelchair space can be created on the end of row L.

If you would find it useful to borrow a wheelchair during your visit, to get around the theatre or to your seat, you can reserve it with the Box Office ahead of your visit - 01482 323638 / boxoffice@hulltruck.co.uk
