Great Adventures in Storyland is going on tour with Trawler Tales!

It will be visiting residents in communities including Orchard Park, Bransholme and Hessle Road. The tour celebrates Maritime History Week and is presented in association with Hull: Yorkshire's Maritime City project. Great Adventures in Storyland is an opportunity for young children, between the ages of 3 and 6, to have their first experiences of theatre! The session starts with a craft activity where the children (family members can get involved too!) create an item that relates to the story being told on stage. For this Great Adventure we’ll be making sea creature masks. Following the craft session, the children will see an interactive performance of our story Trawler Tales. They’ll get to join in with songs and dances and use their masks to be the underwater sea creatures in our story. The tour is funded by the Garfield Weston Foundation and will be visiting Hessle Road Network, Parks Children’s Centre and Bransholme, Western and Greenwood libraries. Local residents can contact their community venues for more information on spaces available.
