Hull Truck Theatre Hosts Theatre Day for Neurodivergent Young People

Hull Truck Theatre is offering a unique and inclusive experience for neurodivergent young people with a day-long creative workshop designed to engage and inspire. Taking place on Thursday, April 17th, 2025, from 10am to 3pm, the Theatre Day for Neurodivergent Young People promises to be a fun, safe, and relaxed environment for participants to explore their creativity. The event is specifically tailored to young people aged 11 to 16 (secondary school age), and it is designed to provide a supportive space for individuals to connect, express themselves, and engage in activities such as acting workshops, games, and arts & crafts. The day will be led by the Creative Learning team at Hull Truck Theatre and Matthew's Hub, ensuring a well-rounded and supportive experience for all involved. This free event is funded by Healthy Holidays Hull, in collaboration with Hull City Council, and supported by funding from the Department for Education, ensuring that this opportunity is accessible to local neurodivergent young people. The event will take place at Hull Truck Theatre, located at 50 Ferensway, Hull, HU2 8LB. Participants will be provided with lunch and snacks throughout the day, please communicate dietary requirements when confirming attendance. Space is limited, with only 30 spots available on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure a place, parents and guardians must complete the sign-up form and confirm attendance HERE. Participants must live in Hull and have a Hull postcode. Sadly, participants based in East Riding, North Lincolnshire, etc are not eligible.
