When you Give the Gift of Theatre, you share with someone an unforgettable and magical theatre experience. 

What does visiting the theatre mean to you? Do you get a thrill when the lights go down? Or do your excitement levels soar as the story begins?  There’s something special about sharing that unique magic.

With your support, we are able to welcome everyone to Hull Truck Theatre, without having to worry about the cost.

For many young people in Hull, a trip to the theatre is out of reach. At the end of every year, we ask for your support in opening the door to a theatre experience that could spark imagination and become a cherished life-long memory. 

In 2024, we raised a staggering total of £9,660.35. Thanks to your generosity, over the next year are able to continue reaching out to schools and community groups in areas where people are facing financial hardship, providing free and subsidized tickets for children and young people to experience the joy of a live theatre experience – often for the first time.
